Chris Vedeler is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in the state of Arizona with a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College. He also is a nationally board certified Diplomate in Acupuncture with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), a professional member of the Arizona Society of Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture (AZSOMA) and an adjunct faculty member of the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture. Chris also is an A.C.H.E. (# 603-323) board certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. Chris has published a number of articles about Chinese medicine in the Arizona Goodlife News and the AZ Net News - The Arizona Healing Journal.

Chris diagnoses and treats from within the time tested framework of Chinese and Oriental medicine using an eclectic mix of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Japanese style acupuncture and pulse diagnosis as well as incorporating 5-Element acupuncture and many other esoteric traditions of Classical Chinese medicine with his own intuition into each treatment. Chris does not treat "cookbook" style and can easily shift paradigms to design a treatment that is as effective and as painless as possible.

Chris is both a husband to Sarah and father with two small children Heather (5) and Jasmine (1). When he is not doing acupuncture or teaching acupuncture most of his time is taken up being a husband and dad. My vision is to use my skills as an acupuncturist, herbalist and healer to awaken the healing potential that lies dormant within each of us. I envision people living a life with humor, love, wisdom and grace as we face the challenges of life. Modern medicine is both powerful and useful, but fails us in the ways in which Chinese medicine is strongest. True healing is ultimately an inner journey of self discovery and awakening. I believe Chinese medicine can provide a beautiful path through that inner journey of healing and I invite you to walk with me.
